Shape your stereo width
Turn the mid and the side up or down, each on its own. A mid/side processor for iPhone and iPad.

Record in mid/side
Decode a cardioid and a figure‑8 into left and right as you listen.
Point a cardioid at the source and a figure‑8 across it, and hear the pair as left and right while you record. Turn the side up for a wider image or down for a narrower one, after the take too.

Your mix, in two parts
Encode to mid and side for the effects after it, then decode back.
Put it before an EQ or a compressor to work on the mid and the side apart, and a second one after them in Decode to put left and right back together. The outputs read M and S while they carry them.

Right in your session
An AUv3 for GarageBand, Logic Pro, AUM and every host that loads one.
Every control is an Audio Unit parameter, so your host can automate a wide chorus and a narrower verse. It takes whatever view the host gives it, from a slim strip to a whole panel.

Also on its own
Plug in a USB audio interface and process any stereo source, no host needed.
Monitor a mid/side pair through your interface's inputs and headphones, or reshape any stereo source on its way out. The app starts with its output muted, so a microphone never feeds back.

Folded or open
iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo, each with its own layout.
Upright or sideways, the faders stand as tall as the screen lets them, and lie flat where a host gives them little height.

A long story
Alan Blumlein described mid/side recording in his 1931 stereo patent, and engineers have relied on it ever since. M/S Processor first came to the iPad in 2013, as an Audiobus filter; M/S Processor 2 is the same idea, rebuilt from the ground up for every screen and every host.
